Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION 985-152 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT (Gorhams Sandy Acres #85-7) WHEREAS, a contract has been let and costs have been determined for the sealcoating improvement of the following streets: 1) Waco Street N.W. between 153rd Avenue N.W. and 150th Avenue N.W. 2) Xkimo Street N.W. between 153rd Avenue N.W. and 150th Avenue N.W. 3) Yakima Street N.W. between 153rd Avenue NoW. and 150th Lane N.W. 4) Zuni Street N.W. lying between 153rd Avenue N.W. and 151st Avenue N.W. 5) 150th Avenue N.W. lying between Waco Street N.W. and Xkimo Street N.W. 6) 150th Lane N.W. between the line of Xkimo Street N.W. and the west line of Gorham's Sandy Acres Estates 7) 151st Avenue N.W. between Yakima Street N.W. and Zuni Street N.W. and the contract price for such improvement is $8,929.54 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $1,569.29 so that the total cost of the improv~ent will be $10,498.83. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA GOUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City is hereby declared to be $ .... and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be $10,498.83. 2) That the City Administrator/Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection.
