Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved <br />for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 985-153 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT (Gorhams <br />Sandy Acres 985-7) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Ramsey City <br />Council on August 27, 1985, the City Administrator/Clerk was <br />directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of the <br />sealcoating project of the following streets: <br /> <br />1) Waco Street N.W. between 153rd Avenue N.W. <br />and 150th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />2) Xkimo Street N.W. between 153rd Avenue N.W. <br />and 150th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />3) Yakima Street N.W. between 153rd Avenue N.W. <br />and 150th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />4) Zuni Street N.W. lying between 153rd Avenue <br />N.W. and 151st Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />5) 150th Avenue N.W. lying between Waco Street <br />N.W. and Xkimo Street N.W. <br /> <br />6) 150th Lane N.W. between the line of Xkimo <br />Street N.W. and the west line of Gorham's Sandy <br />Acres Estates <br /> <br />7) 151st Avenue N.W. between Yakima Street N.W. <br />and Zuni Street N.W. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the City Administrator/Clerk has notified <br />the City Council that such proposed assessment has been completed <br />and filed in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL~ CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, kNOKA (DUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) A hearing shall be held on the 17th day of <br />September, 1985, in the Ramsey Municipal Center, at 7:20 P.M. to <br />pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all <br />persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given <br />an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby directed to <br />cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be <br />published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior <br />to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost <br />of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be <br />given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment <br />roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearing. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
