Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved <br />for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESCLUTION #85-156 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION <br />OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT (High Point #85-9) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a contract has been let and costs have been <br />determined for the sealcoating improvement of the following <br />streets: <br /> 1) 155th Avenue N.W. between Zirconium Street <br /> N.W. and Dolomite Street N.W. <br /> <br />2) 156th Avenue N.W. between Basalt Street N.W. <br />and Coquina Street N.W. <br /> <br />3) 157th Avenue N.W. between Dolomite Street N.W. <br />and Coquina Street N.W. <br /> <br />4) Dolomite Street N.W. between 155th Avenue N.W. <br />and the north plat boundary of High Point. <br /> <br />5) Coquina Street N.W. between 155th Avenue N.W. <br />and 157th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />6) Basalt Street N.W. between 155th Avenue N.W. <br />and 156th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />7) Zirconium Street N.W. between 155th Avenue <br />N.W. northeast to its end at the cul-de-sac. <br /> <br />8) 156th Avenue N.W. between Dolomite Street N.W. <br />and the west plat boundary of High Point. <br /> <br />and the contract price for such improvement is $8,869.78 and the <br />expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such <br />improvement amount to $1,558.79 so that the total cost of the <br />improvement will be $10,428.57. <br /> <br />N~W THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />~NOKA fDUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The portion of the cost of such improvement to be <br />paid by the City is hereby declared to be $ .... and the portion <br />of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is <br />declared to be $10,428.57. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Administrator/Clerk, with the <br />assistance of the City Engineer of Hakanson Anderson Associates, <br />Inc. shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially <br />assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece <br />or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to <br />cash valuation, as provided by law and he shall file a copy of <br />such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
