Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved <br />for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESCLUTION #85-158 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION <br />OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT (Oakridge Estates #85-10) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a contract has been let and costs have been <br />determined for the sealcoating improvement of the following <br />streets: <br /> 1) 163rd Avenue N.W. between Ferret Street N.W. <br /> and Ll~a Street N.W. <br /> <br />2) Ferret Street N.W. between 161st Avenue N.W. <br />and Hedgehog Street N.W. <br /> <br />3) Hedgehog Street N.W. between 163rd Avenue N.W. <br /> and Ferret Street N.W. <br /> <br />4) Kangaroo Street N.W. between 163rd Avenue N.W. <br />north to its end at the cul-de-sac. <br /> <br />5) Kangaroo Circle N.W. between Armstrong Blvd. <br />N.W. (County Road 983 north to its end at the <br />cul-de-sac. <br /> <br />6) 166th Circle N.W. between Marmoset Street N.W. <br />west to its end at the cul-de-sac. <br /> <br />7) Marmoset Street N.W. between Armstrong Blvd. <br />N.W. and the north plat boundary of Woodlawn <br />Estates. <br /> <br />and the contract price for such improvement is $10,201.18 and the <br />expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such <br />improvement amount to $1,942.78 so that the total cost of the <br />improv~ent will be $12,143.96. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL~ CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA (DUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as foll~s: <br /> <br /> 1) The portion of the cost of such improvement to be <br />paid by the City is hereby declared to be $ and the portion <br />of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is <br />declared to be $12,143.96. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Administrator/Clerk, with the <br />assistance of the City Engineer of Hakanson Anderson Associates, <br />Inc. shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially <br />assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece <br />or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to <br />cash valuation, as provided by law and he shall file a copy of <br />such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
