Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved <br />for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESCLUTION 985-161 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT (Pineview <br />Estates #85-11) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Ramsey City <br />Council on August 27, 1985, the City Administrator/Clerk was <br />directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of the <br />sealcoating project of the following streets: <br /> <br />1) 149th Avenue N.W. between Ramsey Blvd N.W. <br />(County Road #56) and Uranimite Street N.W. <br /> <br />2) 149th Lane N.W. between 150th Lane N.W. east <br />to its end at the cul-de-sac. <br /> <br />3) Uranimite Street N.W. between 149th Avenue <br />N.W. and 150th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />4) Peridot Street N.W. between 149th Avenue N.W. <br />and 150th Lane N.W. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the City Administrator/Clerk has notified <br />the City Council that such proposed assessment has been completed <br />and filed in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOVA 00UNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) A hearing shall be held on the 17th day of <br />September, 1985, in the Ramsey Municipal Center, at 8:00 P.M. to <br />pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all <br />persons owning property ffected by such improvement will be given <br />an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby directed to <br />cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be <br />published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior <br />to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost <br />of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be <br />given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment <br />roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearing. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Cox, Sorteberg, Schlueter and <br />Reimann <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
