Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RES(~UTION %85-164 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR ARCON CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. (PROJECTS %84-1 AND %85-15 FLINTWOOD HILLS SECOND ADDITION) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted the following resolution approving the following project in the City of Ramsey: Resolution #85-75 adopted April 9, 1985 for Flintwood Hills Second Addition AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #85-101 awarding the bid to Arcon Construction Company, Inc. for the construction of utilities and streets in Flintwood Hills Seeond Addition; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson, Inc. recommended partial payment in his letter dated August 20, 1985, Arcon Construction Company, Inc., in the amount of $69,930.07. N~W THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ~/~OKA (DUNTY, S~9/TE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes partial payment to Arcon Construction Company, Inc. for utilities and streets in Flintwood Hills Second Addition in the amount of $69,930.07. 2) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution #85-168 approving payment of the bills for the month of August, 1985. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Cox, Sorteberg, Reimann and Schlueter and the following voted against the same: None Page 1 of 2
