Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESCLUTION %85-167 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BIDS RECEIVED FOR THE SALE OF THE 1982 <br />FORD LTD-$ WHIfH HAS BR~N DEfLARED SURPLUS PROPERT~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the <br />sale of the 1982 Ford LTD-S which has been declared surplus <br />property, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to <br />law, and the following bids were received complying with the <br />adver tise~ent: <br /> <br />NMe Amount of Bid <br /> <br />Broadway Tire Mart <br /> <br />$1,400.00 <br /> <br />$ 778.00 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that Broadway Tire Mart had the <br />highest bid in theamountof $1,400.00. <br /> <br />NCW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council accepts the bid from Broadway <br />Tire Mart in the amount of $1,400.00. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Administrator/Clerk is hereby <br />authorized and directed to inform those who bid on the Council <br />action. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Cox, Sorteberg, Schlueter and <br />Reimann <br /> <br />and the foll~ving voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey City Council this the 27th day of A~st, 1985. . <br /> <br /> <br />
