Councilme~ber Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RES~UTION %85-172 <br /> <br />RESC~UTION DE(~ARING (DST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED <br />ASSESSMENT (RAMSEY TERRACE #84-16) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a contract has been let and costs have been determined for <br />the tarvia surfacing improvement of the following streets: <br /> <br />a) Krypton Street NW between 142nd Avenue NW and Industry <br /> Avenue NW (County Road %116); <br /> <br />b) Junkite Street NW between 140th Lane ~ and 142nd Avenue NW; <br /> <br />c) Iodine Street NW between 140th Lane NW and 142nd Avenue NW; <br /> <br />d) 140th Lane ~ between Krypton Street NW and Iodine Street <br /> <br />e) 142nd Avenue NW between the west plat boundary of Ramsey <br /> Terrace and the east plat boundary of Ramsey Terrace. <br /> <br />and the contract price for such improvement is $58,500.00 and the expenses <br />incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement to $15,045.00 so <br />that the total cost of the improvement will be $73,545.00. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESC~VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />GOUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the <br />City is hereby declared to be $-- and the portion of the cost to be assessed <br />against benefited property owners is declared to be $73,545.00. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Administrator/Clerk, with the assistance of the <br />City Engineer of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc., shall forthwith calculate <br />the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every <br />assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without <br />regard to cash valuation, as provided by law and he shall file a copy of such <br />proposed assess~ent in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br /> 3) The City Administrator/Clerk shall, upon the comPletion of such <br />proposed assesament, notify the City Council thereof. <br /> <br />~ne motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Mayor Heitman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman, Councilwembers Reimann, Sorteberg, Schlueter and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Page i of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
