Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RES(LUTION #85-173 <br /> <br />RF~UTION CALLING fOR HEARING C~ PROfOSED ASSESSMENT (RAMSEY TERRACE 984-16) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on <br />September 10, 1985, the City Administrator/Clerk was directed to prepare a <br />proposed asssesment of the cost of the tarvia surfacing improvement of the <br />following streets: <br /> <br />a) Krypton Street NW between 142nd Avenue NW and Armstrong <br /> Blvd. N~ (County Road 983); <br /> <br />b) Junkite Street NW between 140th Lane NW and 142nd Avenue NW; <br /> <br />c) Iodine Street kW between 140th Lane NW and 142nd Avenue NW; <br /> <br />d) 140th Lane N~ between Krypton Street NW and Iodine Street <br /> NW; <br /> <br />e) 142nd Avenue NW between the west plat boundary of Ramsey <br /> Terrace and the east plat boundary of Ramsey Terrace. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the City Administrator/Clerk has notified the City <br />Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in his <br />office for public inspection. <br /> <br />NGN ~4EREFORE, BE IT RES~VED BY THE CITY O0UNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />GOUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows.' <br /> <br /> 1) A hearing shall be held on the 8th day of October, 1985 in the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:00 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and <br />at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement <br />will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice <br />of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official <br />newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in the <br />notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to <br />be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less <br />than two weeks prior to the hearing. <br /> <br />~he motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Mayor Heitman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman, Councilrma~bers Cox, Schlueter, Reimann and Sorteberg <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
