Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESC~UTION #85-174 <br /> <br />RESC~U~ON DEfLARING (DST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED <br />ASSESSMENT (FLINT~OOD HTLLS SECOND ADDITION - #84-1 FLINTWOOD HILLS; #84-12 <br />TRUNK; #85-15 STORM S~ER) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, contracts have been let and costs have been determined for <br />the public utility improvements to the plat of Flintwood Hills Second Addition <br />and the contract prices for such improvements are $552,200.00 and the expenses <br />incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvements amount to <br />$167,800.00 so that the total cost of the improvements will be $720,000.00. <br /> <br />NON ~/~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY 00UNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />(I)UNT~, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The portion of the cost of such improvements to be paid by the <br />City is hereby declared to be $-- and the portion of the cost to be assessed <br />against benefited property owners is declared to be $720,000.00. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Administrator/Clerk, with the assistance of the <br />City Engineer of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. shall forthwith calculate <br />the property amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every <br />assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without <br />regard to cash valuation, as provided by la~ and he shall file a copy of such <br />proposed asses~ent in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br /> 3) The City Administrator/Clerk shall, upon the completion of such <br />proposed assessment, notify the City Council thereof. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilm~ber Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman, Councilw~bers COx, Reimann, Sorteberg and Schlueter <br /> <br />and the follc~ing voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br /> City Council this the 10th day of A~3u~t, 1985. <br /> <br /> Mayor ~ <br /> ~: ~~ .~; ///// -- I hereby acknowledge receipt of <br /> ~// this re sol ut ion: <br />OC'~-~S ~/~/~er~k~'/~ '~/j ni~a ~o~/<~1 e r k ~/z/~ -~/~.. ~~~/'' <br /> <br /> <br />
