Mayor Heitman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RES(]3UTION 985-176 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Clayton R. Berg, Director of Technical Services, has <br />su~itted his letter of resignation to the City Administrator of the City of <br />Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said letter proposes that Mr. Berg's last active day of <br />6{pployment with the City will be October 4, 1985, at which time Mr. Berg's <br />official capacity as the Director of Technical Services will cease; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after use of accrued vacation time and compensatory time, <br />Mr. Berg's last official day as a City of Ramsey employee will be on <br />approximately December 4, 1985; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed a certified copy of Mr. Berg's <br />accrued vacation time and compensatory time as prepared by the City's <br />Accounting Department; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Rawsey City Code and policy permits for an employee to <br />take accrued vacation time and compensatory time and permits for the payment of <br />unused sick leave. <br /> <br />NCW ~HEREFORE, BE IT RESCLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />GOUI~fY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) To accept Clayton R. Berg's letter of resignation dated September <br />13, 1985. <br /> <br /> 2) To accept Mr. Berg's last day of active ~pployment with the City <br />of Ramsey as Director of Technical Services to be October 4, 1985. <br /> <br /> 3) To approve of Mr. Berg's taking vacation time for the period of <br />October 7, 1985 through approximately 'Nov~ber 15, 1985. <br /> <br /> 4) To approve of Mr. Berg's taking compensatory time for the period <br />of Nov~pber 16, 1985 through approximately December 4, 1985. <br /> <br /> 5) To approve of Mr. Berg's receiving payment of his accrued sick <br />leave at the rate of one-third (1/3) times the amount accrued. <br /> <br /> 6) To agree that any compensatory time earned by Mr. Berg between <br />the period of September 17, 1985 and October 4, 1985 will be taken by Mr. Berg <br />during said period and that the City will not monitarily compensate Mr. Berg <br />for said time. <br /> <br /> 7) To agree to compensate Mr. Berg for the vacation time and sick <br />leave that will accrue for the period of October 7, 1985 through December 4, <br />1985.. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Counciln~mber Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman, Council~bers Sorteberg, Reimann and Schlueter <br /> <br /> <br />
