Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RES(LUTION %85-178 <br /> <br />RESC~UTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT (Whispering Pines Plat 3 %85-5) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as <br />required by law, the Ramsey City Council has met and heard and <br />passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the <br />sealcoating improv~ent of the following streets: <br /> <br />1) 157th Lane N.W. between Ferret Street N.W. <br />and Kangaroo Street N.W. <br /> <br />2) 158th Avenue N.W. between Hedgehog Street N.W. <br />and Kangaroo Street N.W. <br /> <br />3) 158th Lane N.m. between Armstrong Blvd. N.W. <br />(County Road #83) west to its end at the cul-de- <br />sac. <br /> <br />4) Eland Street N.W. between 158th Lane N.W. <br />south to its end. <br /> <br />5) Ferret Street N.W. between 157th Lane N.W. <br />and 158th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />6) Hedgehog Street N.W. between the north plat <br />boundary and the south plat boundary of Whispering <br />Pines Estates Plat 3. <br /> <br />7) Kangaroo Street N.W. between 157th Lane N.W. <br />and 158th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA (D~NT~, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That such proposed assessment, a copy of which is <br />attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and <br />shall constitute the special assessment against the ands named <br />herein, and each tract of land therein included in hereby found <br />to be benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the <br />assessment levied against it. <br /> <br /> 2) That such assessment shall be payable in equal <br />annual installments extending over a period of three years, the <br />first of the installments to be payable on or before the first <br />Monday in January, 1986 and shall bear interest at the rate of <br />8.65 per cent annum from the date of the adoption of this <br />assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added <br />interest on the entire assessment from the date of this <br />resolution until December 31, 1986.
