Councilwember Reimann introduced the following resolution <br />and moved for its adoution: <br /> <br />RESC~UTION %85-190 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAY FOR H & S ASPHALT COMPANY <br />(Project #84-16 AND ~85-14) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted <br />the following resolution approving the following project in the <br />City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Resolution %84-242 adopted December 11, 1984 <br />for Ramsey Terrace blacktopping i~prove~ent <br />(#84-16) <br /> <br />Resolution #85-94 adopted May 28, 1985 for <br />grade change on Az urite Street ~ and County <br />Road %5 (%85-14); <br /> <br />9nd <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted <br />Resolution %85-129 awarding the bid to H & S Asphalt for the <br />blacktopping improvement of the streets in Ramsey Terrace and the <br />grade change on Azurite Street and County Road #5; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer, Mr. Peter Raatikka of Hakanson <br />Anderson, Inc. recommended final payment in his letter dated <br />September 17, 1985, Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. in the amount of <br />$45,3~.83. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA (DUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby <br />authorizes final payment to H & S Asphalt for the blacktopping <br />improvement of the streets in Ramsey Terrace and the grade change <br />on Azurite Street and County Road #5 in the amount of $45,383.83. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby <br />authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release <br />form for this partial payment. <br /> <br /> 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is <br />not included in Resolution %85-188 adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council on September 17, 1985 approving payment of the bills for <br />the month of September, 1985 <br /> <br /> 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be <br />provided a signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Cox and upon vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Page i of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
