Councilmewber Cox introduced the following resolution and woved for its adoption: RESCL~ON 985-192 RESC~SUTION APPRG~ING PARTIAL PAY FOR A & K OONSTRUCTION, INC. (Project 984-13 p~phouse No. 1) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted the following resolution approving the following project in the City of Ramsey.. Resolution %84-41 adopted March 12, 1984 for River's Bend (formerly First Guaranty Property) for municipal utilities and municipal trunk facilities AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey has adopted Resolution %84-213 awarding the bid to A & K Construction, Inc. for the construction of Pumphouse No. 1; and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Mr. Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc., recommended partial payment in his letter dated September 24, 1985 to A & K Construction, Inc. in the amount of $6,989.74. NCW THEREFORE, BE IT RESCLVED BY THE CITY (/)UNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA ODUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes partial payment to A & K Construction, Inc. for Pumphouse No. 1 in the amount of $6,989.74. 2) That the City Council of the City of Ram~y hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial palarent is not included in Resolution 985-188 adopted by the Ramsey City Council on September 24, 1985, approving payment of the bills for the month of September, 1985. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilm~ber Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Heit~an, Councilmembers COx, Reimann, Sorteberg and Schlueter and the following voted against the same: None Page 1 of 2
