Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #85-194 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Charles Christian, hereinafter "Developer" has properly <br />applied for plat approval of the following described property located in the <br />City of aawsey: <br /> <br />That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 19, <br />Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota described as commencing at <br />a point on the north line of said Southwest Quarter of the Northwest <br />Quarter a distance of 418.00 feet, as measured at right angles, east of <br />the west line of said Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence <br />south parallel with said west line to intersect the nrotherly line of the <br />right of way of U.S. Highway No. 10; thence southeasterly along said <br />highway right of way for 300.00 feet to the actual point of beginning of <br />the land to be hereby described; thence north parallel with said west line <br />of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter for 658.65 feet, more or <br />less, to intersect said north line of the Southwest Quarter of the <br />Northwest Quarter; thence east along said north line for 451.06 feet; <br />thence south parallel with said west line of the Southwest Quarter of the <br />Northwest Quarter for 1011.93 feet, more or less, to intersect said <br />northerly line of the highway right of way; thence northwesterly along <br />said highway right of way for 571.10 feet, more or less, to the point of <br />beginning; <br /> <br />which plat is to be known as Rawsey Ompmercial Park, hereinafter known as the <br />"Plat;" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Rawsey Planning and Zoning Commission, pursuant to Chapter <br />170.03 held a public hearing on the proposed plat on July 2, 1985, which <br />hearing was duly publixhed in the City's legal newspaper and written notice of <br />the :hearing was given pursuant to law; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting on July 2, 1985 <br />recc~ended that the City grant preliminary approval of the Plat with variances <br />to the soil boring and topography requirerents; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Planning Commission's July 2, <br />1985 public hearing and recommendation minutes, which minutes are incorporated <br />herein as if fully set forth herein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council granted preliminary approval of the Plat with <br />variances to the soil boring and topography requir~rents at its regular meeting <br />on July 23, 1985. <br /> <br />NO~ ~HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY ~E CITY O0UN~L OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />O0UNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That final plat approval of Oxbow Addition is granted with variances <br />to the soil boring and topography requirerents, contingent upon Mr. Christian <br />providing proof of marketable title and entering into a develo~ent agreement <br />with the City. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />the Councilm~rber Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
