Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESCLUTION #85-195 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Allen Sorteberg, hereinafter "Developer" has applied for plat <br />approval of the following described property located in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Outlot B, and that part of Outlot A, SORTEBERG' S 3RD ADDITION, according <br />to the recorded plat thereof, lying easterly of the following described <br />line: <br /> <br />Beginning at the southwest corner of said Outlot A; thence northerly along <br />the west line of said Outlot A a distance of 20.00 feet; thence easterly, <br />parallel with the south line of said Outlot A, a distance of 19.03 feet; <br />thence northerly, parallel with the east line of said Outlot A, a distance <br />of 459.96 feet; thence easterly parallel with the north line of said <br />Outlot A, a distance of 133.00 feet; thence northerly, parallel with said <br />east line, a distance of 432.50 feet to the north line of said Outlot A <br />and said line there terminating. <br /> <br />which plat is to be known as Sorteberg's 4th Addition, hereinafter known as <br />"Plat;" and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City's Planning and Zoning Commission, pursuant to Chapter <br />170.03 held a public hearing on the proposed plat on August 12, 1985, which <br />hearing was duly published in the City's legal newspaper and written notice of <br />the hearing was given pursuant to law; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting on August 12, 1985 <br />recommended that the City grant preliminary approval for the Plat; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Planning Commission's August <br />12, 1985 public hearing minutes and its August 12, 1985 recommendation minutes, <br />which minutes are incorporated as if fully set forth herein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council granted preliminary approval of the Plat with <br />variances to soil borings and topography requirements and contingent upon the <br />requirements of the City Engineer at a meeting on August 13, 1985, which <br />minutes are incorporated as if fully set forth herein. <br /> <br />NCW ~HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />GOUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That final plat approval of $orteberg's 4th Addition is granted <br />with variances to soil boring and topography requiretents, contingent upon Mr. <br />Sorteberg satisfying the requir~ents of the City Engineer and City Ordinances, <br />extending 158th Avenue NW to Armstrong Blvd. NW and designating it for <br />e~ergency use purposes and entering into a develo~ent agre~ent with the City. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilm~ber Cox and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
