Councilmember Schlueter introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESC~33TION 985-230 RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAY FOR A & K CONSTRUCTION, INC. (PROJECT #84-13 PUMPHOJSE NO. 1) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted the following resolution approving the following project in the City of Ramsey: Resolution #84-41 adopted March 12, 1984 for River's Bend (formerly First Guaranty Property) for municipal utilities and municipal trunk facilities AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #84-213 awarding the bid to A & K Construction, Inc. for the construction of Pumphouse No. 1; and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Mr. Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson, Inc., recommended partial payment in his letter dated December 11, 1985 to A & K Construction, Inc. in the amount of $1,747.44. NOW ~HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA (/]UNTY, S~I%TE OF MINNESO~, as follows.. 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes final payment to A & K Construction, Inc. for Pt~nl~house No. 1 in the amount of $1,747.44. 2) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this final payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution #85-239 adopted by the Ramsey City Council on December 17. 1985, approving payment of the bills for the month of Dec~mber. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Heitman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Schlueter, Reimann and Cox Page 1 of 2
