Cou~.(:~i ~.,.,~mbar Reimann introduced the following resolution and <br />mov,,d ~.' it.~; adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #86-64 <br /> <br />RESO~]U't']0N GRANTING APPROVAL TO CURT KUMMALA FOR EXPANSION <br />OF TI~E iRON WORKS GYM <br /> <br /> ?~HEREAS, Mr. Curt Kummala has developed the <br />'i,,~-~l;s Gym facility on Lot 1 , Block 1 , Gateway North <br /> Park Plat 3; and <br /> <br /> i.~HEREAS, Mr. Kummal a has indicated to City <br />stalJ~ i h:,t he would like to expand this facility in the near <br /> <br /> i~HEREA$ , Mr. Kummal a has s t a t e d t h a t the <br />expa~;e;io, includes the construction of an indoor swimming pool; <br /> <br /> JllEREA$ ~ maintenance (such as backf lu shing) <br />and ~ i~,~g of a swimming pool require the availability of <br />san:;i~7 ~(~wew or, if this is not available, the installation of <br />a spc~:;;~}'i <~::d drainfield; and <br /> <br />~fHEREAS ~ Mr. Kummala has requested that the <br /> him a building permit for the construction of the <br /> .~].~ty including the indoor swimming pool. <br /> <br />NOW TH'?.}~MFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as <br />fo].] <br /> <br /> .) 'ii'hat: the City of Ramsey will allow Mr. Kummala to <br />con~ ~.~ ~ thc expanded Iron Works Gym facility including an <br />j. ndo~ swimming pool contingent upon the following items: <br /> <br />a) That any additional land Mr. Kummala may need <br />for the expansion be subdivided in accordance with <br />City Code requirements before the City issues any <br />building permits for the expansion; <br /> <br />b) That Mr . Kummala submit his building , <br />mechanical, grading, drainage and site plans for <br />City review as outlined in the City Code prior to <br />issuance of a building permit; <br /> <br />c) That: Mr. Kummala shall be required to connect <br />to the municipal sanitary sewer system, if <br />avai].ab].e at the time of construction and if not <br />available~ Mr. Kummala shall construct a holding <br />tank and/or additional drainfield adequate for the <br />~aint:enance of the swimming pool in accordance <br />Resolution #86-64 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
