<br />ADOPTING ASSESSMENT (#86-6 - Sports Haven)

<br /> W}iEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as
<br />r'equ:~d 'by law, the Ramsey City Council has met and heard and
<br />passed ~,.po,3. all objections to the proposed assessment for the
<br />sealc,>atj~t: i~xprovement of the following streets:
<br />
<br />1) Yolite Street N.W. lying between 166th Avenue
<br />~W. and the South line of the plat of Carol-Rose
<br />
<br />2) Xenolith Street lying between 166th Avenue
<br />[L, Wo and Lots 2 , 3 and Park, Block 3 of Sports
<br />l{oven
<br />
<br />3) 166th Avenue N.W. lying between Variolite
<br />Street N.W. and the West line of Sports Haven
<br />
<br />4) 165th Lane lying between Variolite Street N.W.
<br />and Lots 3 and 4 Block 4 of Sports Haven
<br />
<br />NOW TH]~.',~EI-ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF
<br />RAMS~/~ Ai~O~A COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows:

<br /> J) Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is
<br />attached h..-~re~o and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and
<br />shall c..~,t :~ ~_tute the special assessment against the lands named
<br />there~,.., ~J~x~'t each tract of ].and therein, included in hereby found
<br />to be ~-:~..~.iited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the
<br />asses~;~,~! l,-_,¥ied agair~st: it.

<br /> ?) Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual
<br />instal f.~,'~r~t:, extending over a period of three years, the first of
<br />the j_~'.i:~l~,-~ents to be payable on or before the first Monday in
<br />Janu,~ g:, _1 988, and shall bear interest at the rate of 8.80 per
<br />cent ¢.~}~t~,,_ from the date of the adoption of this assessment
<br />resoluti. L:,r,~ To the first installment shall be added interest on
<br />the 6~,.t:i ~-e assessment from the date of this resolution until
<br />Decembt-;' ~i1., !986. To each subsequent installment when due shall
<br />be aclr~,~ d Jnl:erest for one year on all unpaid installments.

<br /> 3) The owner of any property so assessed may, at any
<br />time prior to certification of the assessment to the county
<br />audito_, ~, i'~Y the whole of the assessment on such property, with
<br />interes;~' a~:crued to the date of payment, to the City Treasurer,
<br />except ~hat fro imterest shall be charged if the entire assessment
<br />is paJd ',,~5~i~in 30 days from the adoption of this resolution; and
