Counc~ [~. ;..'~,~;r Cox introduced the following resolution and moved <br />for i~; <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #86-157 <br /> <br />RESOLI}TiO[~ RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR MUNICIPAL <br />WELL NUMBER 2, WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT (Project #86-16) <br /> <br /> W]~iEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the <br />impr~'v~,~,~,~ of Municipal Well No. 2, bids were received, opened <br />and ~bulated according to law, and the following bids were <br />receivc-d ~,plying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />.'Bidder Amount of Bid <br /> <br />E~ H. Rennet & Sons, Inc. <br /> <br />$103,100.50 <br /> <br />Construction, Inc. <br /> <br />$109.785.75 <br /> <br /> AliD WHEREAS, it appears that E. H. Rennet & Sons, Inc. <br />is th~ ],~,w~t responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW T}~:REi,'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF <br />RAMSEY ~ ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows : <br /> <br /> 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby <br />auth~,'~'Jz(~d and directed to enter into a contract with E. H. <br />R. enn~;~ ~. ~;ons, Inc. in the name of the City of Ramsey for the <br />improv~.~,ent of Municipal Well No. 2 according to the plans and <br />specJf[~;~,,t;ons therefor approved by the Ramsey City Council and <br />on file i~ the office of the City Administrator. <br /> <br /> ?)
