Counclit~,~emk. er Schlueter introduced the following resolution and <br />moved f,~ :~t~'~ adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~86-165 <br /> <br />ADOPTING ASSESSMENT (~)86-11 - Halland Acres) <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as <br />requized b? ],aw, the Ramsey City Council has met and heard and <br />passed ~9o, all objections to the proposed assessment for the <br />sea]coa, t~g :i.mprovement of the following streets: <br /> <br />1) 154th Lane N.W. lying between Barium Street <br /> ,W. and Argon Street N.W. <br /> <br />2) Barium Street N.W. from the North boundary of <br />the }Ialland Acres plat to the South boundary line <br />of said plat <br /> <br />3) Argon Street N.W. from 154th Lane N.W. to the <br />South boundary line of the plat of Halland Acres <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> t) Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is <br />sttacbed hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and <br />shall c~ostitute the special assessment against the lands named <br />there~r~ ~nd each tract of ].and therein included in hereby found <br />to be b~efLted by the proposed improvement in the amount of the <br />assessme~,~ Jevied against it. <br /> <br /> 2) Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual <br />insta!Jme~t=~ extending over a period of three years, the first of <br />the i~,~i~].iments to be payable on or before the first Monday in <br />Janu~',~ ~988, and shall bear interest at the rate of 8.80 per <br />cent ann~m from the date of the adoption of this assessment <br />resoluti~.>~,, To the first installment shall be added interest on <br />the ~-~tJ,~ assessment from the date of this resolution until <br />Decemb,.~ 3[~ 1990. To each subsequent installment when due shall <br />be ad~_Ied ~ nterest for one year on all unpaid installments. <br /> <br /> 3) The owner of any property so assessed may, at any <br />time p~:;o,: to certification of the assessment to the county <br />audito,~. pay the whole of the assessment on such property, with <br />intercept sccrued to the date of payment, to the City Treasurer~ <br />except 1 h~t no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment <br />is paid '~Jti~in 30 days from the adoption of this resolution; and <br />he mzy, ~t any time thereafter, pay to the City Treasurer the <br />entire :~'~r. ount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest <br />accrue6 t~ December 31 of the year in which such payment is made <br />Such p~,y~,e~t must be made before October 15 or interest will be <br />charged ~b~o,.~gh December 31 of the next succeeding year. <br /> Resolution #86-165 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
