Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved <br />for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESQLUTION #86- 171 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council ordered Project 980-12 <br />for a special assessment blacktop improvement for Riverwood Hills <br />Unplatted; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the original two parcels assessed for the <br />blacktop improvement (01-32-25-14-0015 and 01-32-25-14-0016) have <br />been combined into 01-32-25-14-0035 with both assessed units <br />levied againstthe curre~parcel; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. George Adams has petitioned the Ramsey <br />City Council to abate one of the two assessed units based on the <br />fact that the original lot prior to the combination has been <br />declared unbuildable by the Department of Natural Resources and <br />A~oka County due to the fact there is high water over a majority <br />of the parcel. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That based on the fact the Department of Natural <br />Resources and Anoka County have declared a portion of 01-32-25-14- <br />0035 unbuildable due to high water, the City of Ramsey hereby <br />abates one of the two special assessment units for blacktop <br />improvement against the parcel. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken <br />thereon the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox <br />Councilmembe r DeLuca <br />Councilmember Schlueter <br />Councilmember Sorteberg <br /> <br />and the foll~;ing voted against the same: <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Resolution #86- 171 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
