<br />deve]cp~n~(~ o'f! ou. tdoor recreation facilities on locally owned
<br />land and l'~:~ ',~,ai~tenance of those facilities; and

<br /> W.qEREAS, eligible applicants for state bonding monies
<br />for ath't~l:i~ z~,cilit:ies include cities; and

<br /> WflEREAS, Ramsey Center Partnership donated to the City
<br />of Ram~y ;~-~:ox:;.mate].y 60 acres of land adjacent to the oxbow of
<br />the Rum ?i',~ t:o be used for public purposes; and
<br />
<br /> WM~REAS, the Ramsey City Council has determined that
<br />the m; j(,r ~ i'!,, of th~.s donated land will be developed with
<br />recreati~ai~ iacilities such as multiple purpose trails, canoe
<br />access:, ~,'~:/:~ courtr], picnic area, parking areas and athletic
