Councilmemb;~r Sor~eberg introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #88-51 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~PPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND <br />ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (Service Project No. 88-3 Street Crack <br />Filling) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion passed by the Ramsey City Council on February 9, <br />1987, the (;ity Engineer has prepared contract documents and specifications for the Street <br />Crack Filling ~nd has presented such contract documents and specifications to the Council for <br />approval. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOK/~, COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Such contract documents and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a <br />part her'eoi, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />The (:;it'.../ /~.dministrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in <br />the (;onsiruction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such <br />improvr.:.m~mt under such approved contract documents and specifications. The <br />advertisement shall be published for ten (10) days, shall specify the work to be done, <br />shall state that bids will be received by the City Administrator until 11:00 A.M. on April <br />21, 1988, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center by the City Administrator and City Engineer, will then be <br />tahuia, tecL and will be considered by the Ramsey City Council at 7:30 P.M. on April 26, <br />1988, in the Council Chambers. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during <br />consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue <br />of r~;,,¥)onr;ibility.
