Councilmembor :~orteberg introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #88-114 <br /> <br />RESOLU'FION RECEIVING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF AN OUTDOOR <br />WARNING SIREH SYSTEM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for an outdoor warning siren <br />system, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were <br />received co~npl'/h~,:~ with the advertisement: <br /> <br />Amount of Bid <br /> <br />l;-;ie ;Iric Sytems of Anoka, Inc. <br />l:oderal Signal Corporation <br /> <br />$130,695.00 <br />$162,918.00 <br /> <br /> ?,Hi) WHEREAS, it appears that Electric Systems of Anoka, Inc. is the lowest <br />responsible bidd~;~. <br /> <br />NOW THEHEFO~{E, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, .~_NOKi-~ COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> i ) 'l'hat the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and <br />directed to ¢:r~to.r i~to a contract with Electric Systems of Anoka, Inc. in the name of the City of <br />Ramsey for purchase of an outdoor warning siren system and their installation according to the <br />plans and spr~cific~ttions therefore approved by the Ramsey City Council and on file in the office <br />of the Cily l~,dmi~istrator/Clerk. <br /> <br /> ;!)
