Councilmembcr Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #88-121 <br /> <br />RESOU~_JTI()N RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE <br />EXTENSION OF DYSPROSIUM STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS 87-19 <br />AND 8%26. <br /> <br /> WIH?~REAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Improvement Projects 87-19 and <br />87-26, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following buds were <br />received cotnpl yi~g with the advertisement: <br /> <br />B~d_q~;,: Amolln~ of BiO <br /> <br />W. B. Miller, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That ~hc Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into ~ cai,tract with W. B. Miller, Inc. in the name of the City of Ramsey for the <br />Improvement Projects 87-19 and 87-26 according to the plans and specifications therefore <br />approved by the Ramsey City Council and on file in the office of the City <br />Admi ab;1 r~ tar/Clerk. <br /> <br />2) That ~ward of the project shall be contingent on MN/DOT approval for the plans. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That {Sty Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all <br />bidders thc; deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder <br />and nc;xi: lowest bidder shall be retained until a conlract has been signed. <br /> <br />The motion for Ih~: adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />DeLuca and up~m ',,om being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the f'oltowing voted against the same: <br /> <br />Noflc <br /> <br /> <br />
