Mr, Jim Gjlb,.~rl son - 17930 Ermine Blvd. N.W. - stated that he feels that all <br />businesse.~ ~;i~o. ld comply with the same law's as the liquor store's have to, <br />such as fJ~.. i-~!spection. <br /> <br />Mayor ReJman'~ ,,;tated that he called this meeting because Mr. Gilberson said <br />that he h~.~! :~¢~e other information he felt the Council should hear relating to <br />the Arrigo~J~ inc. gambling license request. <br /> <br />Mr. Gi].b~l:~;o~, stated that he does not want to have the Jacyee's or the Lion's <br />to run tb,~ l,,a.,bling operation at his saloon and that he was going to sue the <br />City of R~rl,,~;~,?. <br /> <br />Mr. Wes A.[~i,,~.~ was present representing Arrigoni, Inc. and stated that if <br />Arrigoni w~t:-~ to fight it they will. He also said that he feels that the <br />local bu~Jn~s~=~en ~;hould be able to pick the kind of charity he wants. <br /> <br />Mr. Gilb~,~.~o~ stated that he does not want the Jaycee's because they do not <br />clean up aJ t~r themselves and he does not want the Lion's because they either <br />sit in th~ k[t~hen or at the bar and don't do their work. He also stated that <br />the Cou~'~] w,'~,~ trying to tell him who he could and couldn't have in his <br />Saloon.. <br /> <br />Mayor ReS'm~n~ ~:tated that the City is not trying to tell businessmen which <br />organizatjon~ Ihey can have in their establishments. The City is trying to <br />maintain ~ poll:icy of using fundings from charitable gambling operations to <br />benef it <br /> <br />Council.meltable,~ ]k~_Luca requested that the Council review it's recommendation at a <br />later dat~,, a:~ ihe Council does not have legal assistance at this time. <br /> <br />the problem of drainage on his oroper~y <br /> <br />Mr. Terry }i~:~b ikson - 15631 Ramsey Blvd. N.W. - stated that he has a severe <br />drainage p~ob]~-m and that the City hasn't done anything to fix it.
