Councilmembcr / ~'earson introduced the following resolution and moved for it adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #88-230 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL <br />CONSTRUCTi~ON~ INC. (PROJECT #88-14 <br />HOUSE) <br /> <br />PAY FOR COTTONWOOD <br />CENTRAL PARK WARMING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project in May, 1988; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WDEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #88-116 <br />awarding the bki to Cottonwood Construction, Inc. for the construction of the Central Park <br />Wamfing !louse. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc., <br />recommended !mriial payment to Cottonwood Construction in the amount of $11,451.07. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RA~SEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Thru ~hc C~_ty Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Cottonwood Construction for <br />thc Warming House construction in the amount of $11,451.06. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Tbm thc (Sty Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Adminis~'ator to sign the release <br />fom~ fo~-~his partial payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That ~hc total amount of this partial payment is not included in the resolution approving <br />paymcn~ oi:' bills for the month of November, 1988. <br /> <br />4) That thc (i'~i ~y of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The rnotien fro' th..: adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Sorteberg an~ t~po~ w)te being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor [¢ci~lann <br />Cotmcilmember Pearson <br />Councihncmber Sorteberg <br />Coo nc i lme~ aber DeLuca <br />Co'anc ilme~_ abet Bawden <br /> <br />and the fol/owi~g ,oted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following at,stained: <br /> <br />Nom': <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Nolic <br /> <br /> <br />
