County is responsible for the allocation and expenditure of CDBG f~ds from the U.S. !)(,.pad,meni; of Housing and Urban Development; ~d WHEREAS, .,, %~esday, January 10, 1989, the Ramsey City Co.oil conducted a public hearing regarding ~se~; 9o~ 1989 CBBG funds; and WHEREAS, on January 10, 1989, City Council taxied a mo[ion ~ desi~ate 1989 CDBG funds for use in upgradi,~g 'handicap access to City Hall and ~he new Central Park Acti~ Center; and WHEREAS~ el{~0[,le expenditures of the CDBG funds include up~ading handicap accessibility to public buildings. NOW Ttt I,:Rq,;F();i;~E, be it resolved by t'he City Council of the City of Ramsey, ~oka County, State of Minne~;ot~b ~z ~llows: 1. 2'hat the City of Ramsey apply to Anoka County for Community Development Block Grant Funds to be used for upgrading handicap accessibility to public buildings. 2. ThaL a copy of this Resolution and a Preliminaw Project Request Fo~ be i~,'warded to the Anoka County Administrator.
