PROGRAM FISHING PIER IN RIVER'S <br />BEND <br /> <br /> W_tft",],tl_:;A[;, the city Council. of the City of Ramsey has supported <br />the deve].opr~,ent of recreation facilities at River's Bend Park, and <br /> <br /> WHF, I~,EA.S, facility improvements at the park were undertaken in <br />1988 , <br /> <br /> WH~;RI~:AS~, the Council's intent is to enhance outdoor recreation <br />activit~ within the park for disabled and physically limited <br />individum.'[s~ and <br /> <br /> WHhlOi,~:>, the Council's intent is to allocate up to $136,000 <br />in 1989 f©r further enhancement of the park including landscaping <br />and establishment of native prairie. <br /> <br />NOW, TJfEt~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY,? ANOVA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That. ~:he city desires to enhance recreational <br />opportu~]Jt:jes within the park. <br /> <br />fishing <br /> <br />2) That ~erland Otto of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. shall <br />prepare m~ ~q)plication and submit to the Minnesota Department of <br />Natural ~e~:ources for a CORE grant for construction and <br />installation of a fishing pier. <br /> <br />3) That the city will enter into necessary agreements with DNR <br />for the >?outine maintenance, insurance and operation of the pier <br />upon notii~ication of approval from the DNR. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Cich and upon vote being taken <br />thereon~ the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Mayor R~imann, Councilmembers Peterson, Cich, Pearson, and DeLuca <br />and the 1'oil. owing voted against the same: <br /> None <br />and the ~o]lowing abstained: <br /> None <br />and the following were absent: <br /> None <br />whereupor, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br /> <br />the Ramsey City Council this the <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Admi n i .~;trator <br /> <br />14th day/ March,~19~9% ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
