Councilmemb;?r I~earson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-03-58 <br /> <br />RESOLU'r~ON PLACING A BOUNTY ON THE DESTRUCTION OF POCKET GOPHERS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board has the authority to place a bounty on the <br />destruction of po(;ket gophers in the County of Anoka pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 348.12 and <br />348.13; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board desires to place a bounty of $.75 per pocket <br />gopher for tt,~ destruction of pocket gophers in those municipalities or townships that elect to <br />pay the individual al: least $.75 per pocket gopher and where said municipality or township will <br />certify to the Coudy the number of pocket gophers destroyed by each individual; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board, on March 14, 1989, adopted Resolution <br />#89-14 placia9 a bounty on the destruction of pocket gophers in the amount of $.75 per pocket <br />gopher. <br /> <br />NOW THEHEFOHE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1 ) That Anoka County will reimburse $.75 per pocket gopher to the City of <br />Ramsey in a~;c,)rdance with Minnesota Statutes 348.12 and 348.13 and that the City of Ramsey <br />shall certify to the Courtly the number of pocket gophers destroyed by each individual. <br /> <br />The motion for CK adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Cich and ~por~ vale being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />M~ty()t Hei~rlalm <br />Councihnember Pearson <br />Courmilrne,nber Cich <br />Cour~cihnember DeLuca <br /> <br />and the followir~9 voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the folJowirl.,~ ~;~}stained: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Cotmoilnmlnber Peterson <br /> <br /> <br />
