Councilmembcr Del_uca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-04-66 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CLASSIFICATION AND REQUESTING THAT THE ANOKA <br />COUNTY HOAP, D WITHHOLD FROM SALE PIN 06-32-25-14-0009 FOR PUBLIC <br />PURPOSE AS ~ MUNICIPAL PARK <br /> <br /> WI IEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Anoka County, Minnesota has <br />prepared a lib;t, designated as Classification List Number 89, which list describes lands <br />forfeited to tlr4 f_-;iate of Minnesota pursuant to Chapter 282 of the Minnesota Statutes, and has <br />determined tl~;_~t it is advisable to sell said land; and <br /> <br />forfeited lalld <br />Statutes; and <br /> <br />WtlEREAS, the Anoka County Board of Commissioners must classify all tax <br />as conservation or non-conservation under Section 282.01 of the Minnesota <br /> <br /> WtilEI::IEAS, the Anoka County Board of Commissioners has considered the <br />present usc of a~ljacent lands found in said list, the productivity of the soil, the character of <br />forest or oth~ g~owth, the accessibility of the lands listed to established roads, schools, and <br />other publir~ ,..;mvices, and their peculiar suitability or desirability for particular uses; and <br /> <br /> WIiEREAS, the classification and sale of any tax forfeited land lying within the <br />bounds o[ any o~ganized town with a taxable value in excess of $20,000 or incorporated <br />municipality mu~;t be approved by the Council of such City, insofar as the lands located therein <br />are concenm(I <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> ~ ) That the Ramsey City Council hereby requests that Anoka County withhold <br />from public sale for one year the following tax forfeit parcel in the City of Ramsey for public <br />purpose as a municipal park: <br /> <br />06.-32-25,.'14-0009 <br /> <br /> '~I) That a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to Anoka County <br />reflecting <br /> <br />The motio,~ ior thC' adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson ~mrl ~.~l:~Or, vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> <br />
