Councilrnemb,~ Cich introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #89-04-68 RESOLUTION t~ECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CENTRAL PARK TURF ESTA~]I.~SHMENT AND IRRIGATION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #89-3 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Central Park Turf and Irrigation Projuct #89~3, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to law, and the following hies w~-.re received complying with the advertisement: Amount of Bid Central Landscaping, Inc. Natural Green, Inc. $41,900.00 $79,346.00 AI~,~D WHEREAS, it appears that Central Landscaping, Inc. of Forest Lake, Minnesota is lll~? lowest responsible bidder. NOW THERE~'©P,E, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, AN©K& COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: i) That lhe Mayor and City AdministratodClerk are hereby authorized and directed to ,;~f,r in!o a contract with Central Landscaping, Inc. of Forest Lake, Minnesota in the name of il~e Cily of Ramsey for the Central Park Turf and Irrigation Project according to the plans and soodfications therefore approved by the Ramsey City Council and on file in the office of the City Administrator/Clerk. 2 ) ]'he City AdmJnistratodClerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith lo ;~li bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bi(Met ~md next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
