CouncilmeCnhor Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #89-04-69 RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND DEFERRING AWARDING CONTRACT FOR RIVER'S BEND PAFIK SOUTH DEVELOPMENT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #89-1 W~EREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for River's Bend Park South Development ?ro.iect #89-1, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: ..Bidder Amount of Bid Buck Blacktop, Inc. NOW TI4ERI-~FOR. E, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, /~,NOK~,~, COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: i) That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized to accept the bids ~or the River's Bend Park South Development Project according to the plans and specifications tl~erofore approved by the Ramsey City Council and on file in the office of the City Adm in isb ato r/,r: h~ rk. ;~) That lhe City AdministratodClerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful biddo¢ ;:tnd next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. :.~ ) That a contract award shall not be made unless the access problem with Anoka Courdy' is ;uccessfully resolved within the sixty (60) day bid holding period unless the period is ext,~,~ded by mutual agreement of the City and the Iow bidder.
