Councilmerm~r;r f;'..eLuca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-04-86 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR LANDSCAPE AND <br />GROUNDS I~AINTENANCE AT CITY PARKS (SERVICE PROJECT #89-1) <br /> <br /> W[tEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for 1989 maintenance at City <br />parks (S~,rvic~ Project //'89-t), bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to law, <br />and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />Bidder <br /> <br />Amount of Bid <br /> <br />J.T. Noonan Company, Inc. <br /> <br />$41,724.50 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that J.T. Noonan Company, Inc. of Brooklyn Center, <br />Minnesota is th~ lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1 ) That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and <br />directed t,..~ ~:nter into a contract with J.T. Noonan Company, Inc. of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota <br />in the nan~e ,~f th~: City of Ramsey for landscape and ground maintenance at City parks according <br />to the plan~ and ',~pecifications therefore approved by the Ramsey City Council and on file in the <br />office of the City Administrator/Clerk and as may be modified by negotiations with the Iow <br />bidder. Th~ ba.~e contract amount shall not exceed the bid amount of $41,724.50. <br /> <br /> ~) That the City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />return forihwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit of the <br />successful ir,idc~er ~hall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> <br /> 3) That the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into negoi:iations with J.T.
