Councilmemb,~r [),qLiJca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #89-06-118 RESOLU¥1ON APPROVING ADVERTISEM[.'.N?S FOR BIDS ESTATES) PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #89-6 (RODEO HILLS WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on May 30, t989, Haka~r~son Anderson Associates, Inc. has prepared plans and specifications for Improvemenl Proj~:ct #89-6 and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval. NOW THEFd~F, OHE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, AN©KI; COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: I ) That such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hor~ol, are hereby approved. 2 ) That the City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official newspaper (Anoka County Union) and in the Construction Bulletin no later than June 16, 1989 an ad,~er!isement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifi.-':ations. The advertisement shall be published for a period of time in accordanc(.; with State Statutes, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by tl)e City Administrator until 11:00 a.m. on June 27, 1989, at which time they will be publicly opor~ed in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center by the City Administrator a,d City Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the Ramsey City Council ~t 7:30 p.m. no later than June 27, 1989 in the Council Chambers. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address th(? Co~ncil on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Administrator and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City of Ramsey for five (5) percent of the amount of such bid.
