CouncilmemboF Cich introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-06-132 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~WARDING CONTRACT FOR THE RIVER'S BEND PARK SOUTH <br />DEVELOPiVlENT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #89-1 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the River's Bend Park <br />South Developrne~d (Improvement Project #89-1), bids were received, opened, and tabulated <br />according to law, and the bids were received by City Council Resolution #89-04-69 on April <br />11, 1989 compiyir,,g with the advertisement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it appears that Buck Blacktop, Inc. of St. Paul, Minnesota was the <br />lowest respor~sible bidder in the amount of $101,555.55; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator/Clerk was authorized and directed to return <br />forthwith to ~tll bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the <br />successful bidder ~nd next lowest bidder were retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> <br />NOW 'rHEHEFOIIE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, AHOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> i ) That the Mayor and City AdministratodClerk are hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter iI,to a contract with Buck Blacktop, Inc. of St. Paul, Minnesota in the name of <br />the City of Ramsay for the River's Bend Park South Development Project according to the plans <br />and specificatio:~s therefore approved by the Ramsey City Council and on file in the office of the <br />City Admi his tr~'toi'/Clerk. <br /> <br />The molten for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />DeLuca and upor~ ,,ote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor F;eir¢~ann <br />Counciln~ernber Cich <br />Cour~cilmer~ff)er DeLuca <br />Counciln~er~ber Pearson <br />Courmilr~lernber Peterson <br /> <br />and the followin,q voted against the same: <br /> <br />Nof~r_,, <br /> <br />and the followin!~l abstained: <br /> <br />NOrlO <br /> <br />and lhe followinw were absent: <br /> <br />Norle <br /> <br /> <br />
