Councilmemb~,' DeLuca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-06-137 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF <br />REPORT TO CONSIDER IMPROVEMENTS ON RIVLYN AVENUE N.W. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received a petition to prepare a feasibility study to <br />consider the improvements of blacktopping and the installation of sanitary sewer and water <br />utilities on Rivlyn /',venue N.W.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct <br />percentage of I~_~wful signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WH£REAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance <br />with the City Chart;~r and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEF,'.I;~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> t) A certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the <br />improvemen~ o~ blacktopping and the installation of sanitary sewer and water utilities on <br />Rivlyn Avenue; N.W. has been tiled with the City Council on June 13, 1989. The petition is <br />hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property owners. This <br />declaration is mad~_~ in conformity to the City of Ramsey Ordinance 210.01 and Minnesota Statute <br />Chapter 429. <br /> <br /> 2 i The petition is hereby referred to Peter Raatikka, City Engineer, and he <br />is instructed to prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising <br />the Council in a pretirninary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to <br />the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also comment as <br />to whether it would best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement. <br /> <br />The above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Project #89- <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />The motior~ for ~he adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Pearson and up,.~n vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayo~' Heimann <br />Councihnember DeLuca <br />Cotmf;ih-n6, rr~ber Pearson <br />Councilmeruber Cich <br />Councihr~ember Peterson <br /> <br />and the followi%; voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
