Councilmember Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-06-141 <br /> <br />RESOLUTICr>N APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING <br />ADVERTISF:MENT FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #89-2 (156TH AVENUE <br />N.W.). <br /> <br /> WtiEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on May <br />30, 1989, Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. has prepared plans and specifications for <br />Improvement Project #89-2, 156th Avenue N.W., and has presented plans and specifications to <br />the Council f()r approval. <br /> <br />NOW THEHEI::OFIE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> '¢ ) That such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br />made a part hn. rr:o!, are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> ;-'. ) That the City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the <br />official newspaper Anoka County Union) and the Construction Bulletin no later than June 30, <br />1989 an advortisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved <br />plans and .~;peoifioations. The advertisement shall be published for a period of time in <br />accordance with State Statutes, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be <br />received by lhn City Administrator until 11:00 a.m. on July 11, 1989, at which time they will <br />be publicly op(;nr;d in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center by the City <br />Administrator and City Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the Ramsey <br />City Council at '/:30 p.m. no later than July 11, 1989 in the Council Chambers. Any bidder <br />whose respo[~sibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity <br />to address; tho Council on the issue of responsibility.
