Councilmo ~h{~r ('.ich introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #89-07-181 RESOLUTION RECEIVING EMERGLN _.¥ WATERMAIN SERVICE ~(,~[,t,,r #89-3 BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONNECTION TO THE CITY OF ANOKA, W.(tEREAS, pursuant to an invitation for bids July 21, 1989 for Emergency Watermain (;onncction to the City of Anoka (Service Project #89-3), bids were received, opened and tabulmcd accnrding to law, and the following bids were received: Bid ()M is Gold Construction K irkwold Construction \V B. Miller, Inc. $5,500.00 $7 ,O75.OO $7,25O.00 AND WItEREAS, it appears that Old is Gold Construction of Andover, Minnesota is !he lowest responsible bidder. NOW T][I E R ~;' .r ~ ~A~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to aw:trd a contract to Old is Gold Construction in the name of the City of Ramsey for Emergency Watermain Connection to Anoka, Service Project #89-3, according to the specifications prepared I~y th( (5 ty Engineer and on file in the office of the City Administrator/Clerk. 2) That the City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to ~ !1 bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder am I i ¢,~ ~ n c x l lowest bidders sh all be retained until a contract has been signed.
