Counci!.member DeLuca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION %89-08-201 RESOLU%!]ON D~£CLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASS[~SSMENT (#89-16, HEMATITE STREET IMPROVEMENT) WIIF, P,E~IS~ a centract has been let and costs have been determined with reler,~e to the street improvement of Hematite Street and the contra¢:[- p~Tice for such improvements is $8,351.25 and the expenses incurred o~~ ~o be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $2,505~37 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $10,85(;. 62~ NOW TIIF. NSI"~)N}',, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, {I}I~'}~<A COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) Th,~ ~ortion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City oi_ i[amsey is hereby declared to be $0.00 and the portion of the cost I~ ]~e assessed against benefited property owners is declared ~,~ }~e $10,856.62~ 2) ,~ss~:::sments shall be in equal annual installments extending over a i}e~i~,<[ of ten years, the first of the installments to be payable o~ o~' before May ]5, 1990 and shall bear interest at the rate of 8.1i },ercent per annum from the date of the adoption of the assessm(N~t ~:~:~}olution. 3) Ti,,~ (;.'ity Administrator shall upon the completion of such proposed ~::r~;~ssment, notify the Ramsey City Council thereof.
