Counc:[]mernber DeLuca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION %89-08-205 RESOLUTION OECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT (~89-]_0, HEMATITE STREET IMPROVEMENT) WNERi<nS~ a contract has been let and costs have been determined with refe~x~<~ to the street improvement of Hematite Street and the contract pr~c~ for such improvements is $7,893.75 and the expenses incurred o~ ~o be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $2,368.i~ so that the total cost of the improvement will be NOW T}tEi{I~i<()N~:;~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKg\ COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) Thc portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City of ~%amsey is hereby declared to be $0.00 and the portion of the cost t(~ l~e. assessed against benefited property owners is declared i~ t~e. $10,26]_.88. 2) Asse::sments shall be in equal annual installments extending over a pet::ioc! of ten years, the first of the installments to be payable o,~ ~>~ before May 15, 1990 and shall bear interest at the rate of 8.1 percent per annum from the date of the adoption of the assessme:~ti: .~esolution. 3) 'Pi,e {::Lty Administrator shall upon the completion of such proposed a~;sessment, notify the Ramsey City Council thereof.
