Councilmember F'eterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-11-306 <br /> <br />RESOLU'FION A:.ITHORIZlNG LE'I'q'ER TO ANOKA COUNTY EXPRESSING CONCERNS OF <br />CITY REG~.t~DiHG CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY FOR COUNTY ROAD #116 IN RIVER'S <br />BEND <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, tho City Council of the City of Ramsey has supported the <br />developmo~4 of recreation facilities and the Rum River bridge crossing at River's Bend Park; <br />and <br /> <br />WldlEREAS, facility improvements at the park were undertaken in 1988 and <br /> <br />1989; anti <br /> <br /> WI~.EREAS, the F~amsey City Council's intent is to enhance outdoor recreation <br />activities witlfi~ the park; and <br /> <br /> WI-iEREAS, the Ramsey City Council's intent is to continue its support for the <br />County Road /11 'it~; Rum River bridge crossing; and <br /> <br /> WIiEREAS, construction activity has recently been initiated for the Rum River <br />bridge cros~;i~o. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOK/~. COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> i) That the Mayor is hereby authorized to express the City's limited <br />concerns reg;~r<tin!~i the construction activity to Anoka County. <br /> <br /> ;-'.)
