Councilmcmt~r DeLuca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #89-11-318 RES()L1JTI('~N APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR BUCK BLACKTOP, INC. (PRO.IECT #8%1 RIVER'S BEND PARK - SOUTH DEVELOPMENT) W~tEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, bids were received by City Council Resolution #89-04~69 on April ll, 1989; ami WIlEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on June 13,/989; and ~NHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #89-06- 132 awardir~g the .~:ontract to Buck Blacktop, Inc. for the improvements at River's Bend Park; and Wt:iEREAS, the City Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. recommended partial payment to Buck Blacktop, Inc. in the amount of $13,832.81. NOW TilEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY~ ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: i ) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Buck Blacktop, Inc. for the im~m~vcments at River's Bend Park (Improvement Project #89-1) in the amount of $13,832.81. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the relea:~c for this partial payment. That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution #89-11-313 appro,:ing payment of bills for the month of November, 1989. 4.) of this rcsolul That the City of Ramsey's Finance Department be provided a signed copy .5) That payment shall be made from City Fund #231: River's Bend Park Improvcmc,t~ - (I~)BG.
