<br /> W ~IEREAS, Kay McAloney began employment at the City of Ramsey on May
<br />30, 1989 as I'c~'.~;oancl Coordinator in salary grade 3 with an annual salary OF $18,500; and
<br />
<br /> W!~EREAS, Ms. McAloney is not a member of any bargaining unit, but as stated
<br />in the Ram:;cy C~ty Code every original appointment is subject to a probationary period of six
<br />months (1 ,()d0 hr>.~ u's) after appointment, and the six month probationary period for Ms. McAloney
<br />expires on / ),:/::,.md~c~' 4, 1989; and
<br />
<br /> W ~1. E !,: I.;A S, Ms. McAloney was reviewed satisfactorily from her immediate
<br />supcrviso,' ,'.;m..'lr~ Ashley, Finance Officer, on November 8, 1989; and
<br />
<br /> WJl EREAS, Miss Ashley recommends that Ms. McAloney's probationary status
<br />be ended ~po~ tile. completion of the six months (1,040 hours) and that she be retained as a regular
<br />full-time ~:mployc~ ~ of the City of R~m~sey; and
<br />
<br /> W!~IEREAS, Miss Ashley further recommends an increase of $2,600 to a new
<br />salary ba.~;{: r;tt,.~' ~' $21,100 effective the day following completion of t,040 hours in position,
<br />which in thi:; c~s~ is December 5, 1989; and

<br /> W ~tEREAS, David Hartley, City Administrator, agrees with the
<br />recommcr~&tii,ms ~)f Mi ss Ashley, and

<br /> WI IEREAS, on December 4, 1989, the Personnel Committee accepted the
<br />recommcndati{m:; of Miss Ashley and Mr. Hartley to end the probationary status of Ms.
<br />McAIoncy,
