W ilEREAS, the Minnesota Fire Agencies Purchasing Consortium has received bids (A5~¢39 2) ;m(I awarded its vendor agreement to Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc. wh ich im:,'ud~'~s thc price of $449.00 each for Minitor II SV pagers; and WllEREAS, the 1990 budget anticipates expenditures of $2,500.00 for pagers; and W~iEREAS, the Fire Board met on December 6, 1989 and recommended that the City Councii a~t<n'izc the purchase of four pagers at a unit price of $449.00 for a total cost of $1/796.0(L NOW T;~lb;l¢f,;1,t)llE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAM,,'-';~,','~;, (.;()UN'FY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1 ) The City's Administrator and Fire Chief are authorized to purchase four Minitor II SV pag,~-,'s at a unit price of $449.00 for a total cost of $1,796.00 from Motorola Communic;~ti~>as md ][~lcctronics, Inc. ~) Thc aforementioned purchase of pagers is to be initiated with a Ramsey Purchase (),'dc~' and charged to the 1990 General Fund Budget Account 101-2220-45270.
