Cou ncilmcml~,,'~; [)cl.tlc:t introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-03-068 RES()LIJ~I-ION OFFICIALLY PROCLAIMING MARCH 12 TO MARCH 18, 1990 AS CAMP I,'IRl~; BIRTHDAY WEEK IN THE CITY OF RAMSEY WII[;I~EAS, Camp Fire, the national youth organization, will be celebrating its 80th birthday on 0~la:~'~q~ 17, 1990; and Wit [~}]i{I{}/~S, the Minneapolis Camp Fire Council, City of Ramsey, State of Minnesota teaches b~ys ~t~d ~.irls self reliance and good citizenship; and Wlll~;l{l~;AS, through contemporary programs and by speaking out on issues that affect youth ~md their' f:_~ilies, today's Camp Fire is helping kids cope with their changing world; and WIII~;I~I~;;~S, in Camp Fire, the choices and opportunities are wide open for boys and girls; a~d WIII~;i~.I~;/~S, through Camp Fire, young people are learning to develop confidence and gain skills ~:,.:~_lett ~.o I)ecome tomorrow's leaders; and WIIEI~I~;/%S, Camp Fire is commended for the opportunities its programs offer to young people in the City of Ramsey and throughout the nation and for the many services these young people pexfor~ fi-~' their communities through Camp Fire.
