UTION Al'PROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS #89-14 AND #87- 27 BLACKTOPPING, SANITARY SEWER, AND WATER UTILITIES FOR JUNIPER WOODS ADDITION) WII~;RF. AS, pursuant to a motion passed by the Ramsey City Council on August 29, 1989, the City Et, gineer has prepared contract documents and specifications for blacktopping, sanitary sewer, ar_,.d water utilities for Juniper Woods Addition and has presented such contract document:; and specifications to the Council for approval. NOW TIIE}IEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) Such ,:onmtct documents and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a pm't hcrco~, are hereby approved. 2) Thc Ciiy Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under sucl~ approved contract documents and specifications. The advertisement shall be publishcd for twenty-one (21) days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will Dc received by the City Administrator until 11:00 A.M. on April 24, 1990 at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center by thc City Administrator ~d City Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the: Ramsey City Council at 7:30 P.M. on April 241990 in the Council Chambers. Any biddtn- wi~ose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Administrator and accompanied by a cash deposit, ca:.;hier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City of Ramsey for five (5) perccnl of the amount of such bid.
