Councilmcml:~::~ { iich introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-04-109 RES(ILOTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF RAMSEY F~RE DEPARTMENT AND ADOPTING #4 SMALL TOOLS FOR THE 1990 BUDGET AMENDMENT WIt EREAS, at their meeting of February 14, 1990 the Fire Board approved the purchase of a chain saw, K- 12 saw, portable generator, medical kit and smoke ejector fan; and Wltl,;REAS, Fire Chief Hoeke obtained prices for these items as follows: Chain Saw K-12 Saw Portable Generator Medical Kit Smoke Ejector Fan (16") $ 500.00 (wholesale) $ 537.00 (wholesale) $ 370.00 (local) $1,360.00 (Emergency Medical, Des Moines, Iowa) $ 595.00 (quote from Minnesota Conway) $ 583.00 (quote from Clarey's) ANi) WI~EREAS, this operating expenditure was not included in the Fire Department's 1990 budgcl; a~d WItEi~tEAS, this amendment will reduce the available funds in sub-function #8920 - Expenditure Reserve, to $26,650.00; and WIIEREAS, this budget amendment does not increase nor decrease the City's total 1990 General Fund Budge~. NOW TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMS1,;¥, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) Thai thc C~'ty Council hereby authorize purchase of the above tools for the Ramsey Fire 2) That lm~'cl~se of the smoke ejector fan be awarded to the lowest bidder, Clarey's. 3) That lh~; iTmance Officer of the City of Ramsey be instructed to enter a 1990 Budget Amemt menl (#4) to the City's financial records. 4) That such ~m~endment increase the 1990 Fire Department Small Tools Expenditure budget by $3,350.(10 (account #101-42241-002220) and decrease the 1990 Expenditure Reserve budget by the same amount.
