Councilmember l)eLuca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-05-134 RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING PROJECT #9~}-1.6 (PAVING ENTRANCE ROAD CENTRAl, PARK) PAVING CONTRACT FOR AND PARKING LOT AT WIIEREAS, Resolution #90-04-097 authorized the preparation of plans and specifications for '.,_he above referenced work; and WHEREAS, the following quotes were received: Amount of Bid W.B. Miller, Inc. Acm Asphalt Buck Blacktop Ch.t~y & Carlson $13,840.00 $14,650.00 $14,792.00 $15,450.00 AND WIt[EREAS, it appears that W.B. Miller, Inc. of Ramsey, Minnesota is the lowest respon si hie bktder; and WItERE/:~S, striping will be an additional $390.00 for a total cost of $14,230.00; and WItE. R EAS, this item was budgeted in the 1990 Capital Improvement Budget for parks. NOW TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) Thai the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with W.B. Miller, Inc. of Ramsey, Minnesota in the name of the City of Rams,:y lb." paving at Cenu'al Park in the amount of $14,230.00. 2) That fi~e fimds shall be appropriated from the City General Fund, Park and Recreation Capilal Omlay Budget.
